Da River Son La Hydropower Complex
The Da River is Vietnam’s largest lake and home to the highest bridge in Indochina. It is also home to a number of archaeological sites of the ancient Thai people with letters carved in stone and ancient objects found in the area. The Son La hydropower is the largest in Southeast Asia and provides about 10.2 billion kWh of electricity whilst at the same time helps prevent flooding during the rainy season and supplies water for irrigation during the dry season to the northern plain region.
